The collection of songs do indeed have a comprehensive mix of styles, there is something for everyone! There are fun songs but some more serious too, with others just downright off-the-wall! It does mean that not all the songs easily lend themselves to use in meetings, but there easily enough useable songs to justify purchase. With 16 songs on Disc One and a further 3 songs on Disc Two, Okey Dokey represents good value for money too. Disc Two includes a hilarious reworking of the Noah’s Ark story. This is told by Doug Horley’s two puppets called Harry and Larry, is full of good humour, and is highly recommended for car journeys!
In summary, Okey Dokey is a sometimes quirky, but always fun, kids album that will bring a breath of fresh air to children’s worship times both at church and at home.
